DR. MICHAEL L. BERMAN
DO, CWSP, FACCWS, FAPWH
After working as the medical director of a local Hospitalist group for nearly a decade, I saw a need for doctors who specialize in wound management. There was a challenge in finding qualified physicians to help attend to patients with difficult wounds. I decided that I needed to learn to care for these difficult medical problems, focus on wound medicine, and help my patients.
Pioneering the field of Wound Medicine, I opened Valley Wound Care Specialists in 2005. Additionally, I serve as the Medical Director of the Abrazo Arrowhead Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Center. Utilizing cutting edge technology and evidence-based medicine, I “Treat the whole patient, not just the hole in the patient.”
